Its funny you mentioned that Larry, I thought about using it as the spacer plate, just might have to rotate foggers, or if running just one fogger, then move it to a desireable location. I think the vforce reeds are carbon fiber, that may be why they disintegrated, Im unsure of the materials resistance to extreme hot and cold.
Now Ive read several older posts about Carbs, whats the best choice for WOT racing applications? Ive seen some prefer one for trails, or wood riding, or that another provides best miles per gallon, but which makes best HP?
I just noticed a sleeve for a the cylinder on ebay, would it be custom made or is this a part that some aftermarket company has available?
This is a question for Jfab or stewart. ive seen pics of the work you guys have done reshaping heads and setting up squish and CC's. Once the head is shaped, are the insides then polished to resisit heat build up in one area or over casting flaws or imperfections?
Is this also done with the pistons? I have shopped around for pistons, I really like the wisecos available with the window, are these sold with any coatings for friction or heat? If not, can the top be covered for heat resistance and the skirts for lowered friction?
Sorry for the questions, I usually have a few....
