CR125R radiator
« on: April 01, 2012, 04:50:46 PM »
Had a slightly mangled 2005 CR125R left radiator laying around that was short enough to clear the pipe on my 2006 450F conversion.  I crammed a 5/16 deep well socket down the tube at the bottom and put a box end wrench over it and straightened it out such that it went between the frame and cylinder and it looks like I might be in business.  I enlarged the hole for the protective grill on top and used it as the mount point and am attaching a new spot on the frame for the lower bolt hole.  Not a solution I've heard of anyone else using but it appears it will suffice as a no weld solution which will make getting spares easier.  Not sure about temperatures, I've lost some significant length to the radiator.
