I'm sure none of this will come as a surprise to any of you, but, I love my new(to me) bike. In comparison to my 08 KTM 450 XCR-W; the power comes on quicker....not as linear as the KTM and signs off a little earlier. The KTM, being a W, has longer legs. I love the suspension. It is the one factor that makes this bike scream for me. Can't even begin to explain how nice the KYBs felt in comparison to the pumpkin. As for the weight, she feels a little porkier and alot wider than my KTM or my buddy's 03 CRF, but when she gets moving, it does not feel like a disadvantage...only when putting her on the stand. She cold cranks on the 3d kick and hot starts on the first. I now know why teams race the KX off-road, she totally rocks. I have ridden 3 of the trails on Hatfield McCoy on a 250 EXC(2T) and now can't wait to go back on this bike. In stock form, for off-road, can't see trying to change the power delivery, just want her a little quieter and with a little more protection. Glad I made the jump back to green.
