removing stator

i need to remove my stator but dont know how. i pull the cover off and unscrew the centerbolt but it still wont come off do i need a special puller?

What are you working on? Yes you do need a puller to get the flywheel off....DON"T beat on it! Here is how I hold it in order to torque it properly.

it is really rusty in the housing and i think it needs to be cleaned i cant start my bike by kicking it i need to pull it with a truck. i checked my spark and it seems kinda weak
