Old Parts in the Garage
« on: September 22, 2009, 12:43:44 AM »
Hello All,

The land speed team needs a bit of help with 'Offerings to the God of Speed'......

Most pressing is the need for a 'newer' style KX5 frame and sub frame. The next event is October, so time is awefully tight. If you have the parts and are willing to part with them, please let me know what I need to do to get the stuff into a UPS truck headed for Milwaukee....

After all....wouldn't it be better if that old frame rusted to death in Bonneville instead of the corner of the garage.  8-)

Thanks,

Mark

Newer in that it would be replacing a 1999 frame...so I guess that means anything from 1989 on?!?

We are reusing a bunch of stock kawi stuff and I don't want to have 'fit' that as well.

What do you think JFAB.....need my shipping address???

 :-D

I have a '92 ,I think, it had blue forks. Frame is ok, subframe has been welded on. I would part with it.
