I used to be a mechanic at a Honda dealer ship(cars) and had a 5 gallon bucket of bolts that I collected overtime, well the local motorcycle shop had a grab bag of bolts for like $5.00 from doing the same thing. Not a bad deal considering the price of quality metric hard ware, you may want to ask your local dealer if he'd do something like that,it may not be a perfect assortment as a bolt kit but cheaper.

I get "K&L" (?) kits for my Garage and Fanny pack stash. They're cheap and they're the same as OEM Honda/Kawasaki. BTW, your friends will love you for getting it!

A little Ti goes a long way on your Triples and Bar Clamps

I ended up picking up one of these from eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=34284&item=2452548254&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWN%3AIT

So far, so good.   Just keep and eye out for more from that same seller.  The other seller doesn't include the case with the auction.  90% of mine are rated 10.9
