I think you should sell your Kx500 and go enjoy your Honda.PM me for the price.Remember its  unreliable,shakes,wont handle,eats fuel etc etc so the price should be almost a give-a-way.

My bike vibrates but I have never lost any bolts and I do not use any locktite.  The only thing I have lost on the trail was a exhaust spring.  My bike idles fine and runs fairly well.  The only limitation of my bike is me and that can say a lot.  After I fixed a few problems with my bike I would say it has about 20% more power than my stock yzf450.

hahaha! I think ill keep it and buy a CR too. I'm already looking for a late 90s cr500 as we speak. But im not gonna sell the Kawasaki and give up.

It is good to see you are keeping the bike.  For trail riding I really enjoy the layed back feel of the kx500.  You can just sit back on the 2 inches of foam and ride all day long.  I sit on the yzf450 2X4 and wonder why did they not put a set on this bike.

Put ice screws in the tires, get your KX500 out on the ice, and you will get a chance to truely experience all a KX500 has to offer (and bring some extra underwear)
