87 KX500 Coolant in the transmission

What is the likely failure mode that would allow water contaminating / entering the transmission.
Is it head gasket / base gasket / water pump seal etc.
I am using a copper head gasket & a stock paper base gasket. Water pump seal is new

Water pump seal is the only way that coolant can be on tranmission
