I am going to try a couple different jets this weekend and see what happens. I put a reed spacer in today and it didnt change things. Thanks again :|

I was talking to a dyno tuner a while back about the effect of float height - he mentioned if you have it too low the carb will suck air on WOT & "it'll feel like you were tied to a tree"!
Might be worth a check....

BTW - fuel level too high & the carb will piss fuel out the overflow (apart from running even richer/doggier)

Altering your float height is also a way to slightly alter your jetting. Don't quote me on this, as the exact details I can't remember, but I believe the idea is the higher the float height, the richer the jetting, as it's easier for the vaccume signal in the venturi to draw fuel up the needle jet. When you run a lower float level, it's harder for the vaccume signal to draw fuel up the needle jet making for a leaner condition... (feel free to slap my face if I got this backwards)  :)

 :-DChanged the main jet to a 168 it had a 165 and adjusted the float level and it seems to be running a lot better. Thanks for the help

165  :-o holly cow no wonder it was falling on it's face. I thought you said it already had a 168 in it. We could have sorted this out alot faster if we had known that. If it was falling on it's face with a 165 and then it starts to run with a 168 it needs a 170 to make best power or a 172 to make good power and live long. change your jet again too a 170 and you will be amazed how much better it will run.
