Name these reeds

I've never messed with reeds.  Any input on these two choices?  What are they?

left looks like standard Boysen Dual stage reeds..

Right looks like  Standard Boysen single stage reeds

I had a set of the standard Dual stage reeds in my 87 K5... worked like a charm... smoothed out the bottom end compared to stockers.. (worn out stockers)  and seemed to make more top end...

The reeds on the left look like Boyessen dual stage reeds & the others a standard fiberglass reed.

If your going to run one of these sets I would run the 2 stage reeds on the left with the reed stops off of the right cage . Open the reed stops up as far as you can and them still go into the cylinder . this will give you the benefit of duel stage reeds without reed flutter
Yep, you can ride it - if YOU can start it !!

The bosysen dual-stage reed instructions say to leave out the reed stops entirely.  Mine are in my toolbox. Cam.

Would flutter only be an issue at top end?

Yes, a light reed is good for bottom end, & stiff for top end as they are more resistant to flutter.

So the dual stage reeds are the hot ticket then?  Since I don't do much WFO riding, I don't think I'll need the cage regardless.

Thanks guys for all the prompt help.

Now if I can just identify that shock...........................
