Orlando, FL here
« on: April 21, 2009, 12:21:04 PM »
Hey guys.
Been lurking on here for years and decided to join in hopes of the great info here can help me with my new project.
I have a 96 kx500 and I tore it down for a complete restoration. While I had it tore down I acquired a 99 CR250 with a grenaded motor. So for fun I tried the 500 in the frame and Wow it looks to be a pretty easy swap. Only minor mount modification to the front mount and it should bolt in. I have a new thread in the 500AF forum if any of you have some knowledge to share.

I figured. :-D Looking at your exit?

You know another name could be "Dragonknees."  I 4wheel a LOT and always wanted to name a club Dragonballs because I always forget to take my trailer hitch out and drag it on rocks and whatever.  Cool none the less. :-)

Started racing in 99. Stopped racing in 2000. I was on Real TV for my "end of racing crash"
I have raced at Road Atlanta, Daytona, Roebling road Savannah, Homestaed, And Moroso.
I mainly do trackdays now at Jennings. We go about every 4-5 months and rent the track for 12-15 people.
I am looking to start racing again...FTR this time.

I used to Pit for a guy (Rick Narup, know him?) @ Daytona. He used to run a Muzzy Raptor (sweet bike, carbon tank etc) prior to the Gixxer 1K. I loved being able to see all of the Factory hardware upclose and learned alot from Rick in the short time spent together.

The name sounds familiar but i probably know his name from results. I do remember there were only like 2-3 raptors out there ever. they were awesome with their single sided swingarm and all the trick bits Muzzy put on them.
