Saskatchewan Canada

Here's a few pics of the bikes that lead me to join the site. The KX500 is a 1998 model, all stock except for 14/49 gearing. The other bike is a 1994 KLX650R. Very evenly matched bikes from the limited amount of time I have spent riding them.

No, most of the snow is still around. Its been a long winter here.

Last weekend my dad and I switched back and forth between the KX500 and the KLX650R. Every time we drag raced the 650 won no matter who was riding, due to the KX500 blowing off the rear tire. This was on gravel roads though, so traction is hard to get. I'm thinking a fresh knobby and a Steahly flywheel weight might change that.

:-D  Grab two gears.  But be careful as the front can rise extremely quickly upon hookup!
