Newbie first post, Newbie to the KX500
« on: March 23, 2009, 03:44:53 AM »
Hello everyone, I recently sold my 07 XR650R and bought a 92 KX500.  The bike was a one owner original conditon low hour machine and it has already started stretching my arms!  I thought the 650R had power was I ever mistaken, these big bore 2 strokes will move mountains.  I live in Oregon and have 5 acres to play on and I'm surrounded by grass seed fields to ride on. This site is a wealth of information, a big thanks to everyone who contributes!

Hey man welcome to the site.  I live in Idaho and have lots of wide open spaces too!  You gotta love the big bore Kawi's!!  I love these machines!  I currently ride a 1995 KX500 and a 2006 KX450F.  I bleed green!  If you were to prick your finger you now probably bleed green too!  Be safe and ride hard!
