having done a few beach races over in UK ive found a few tips to keep you going,1, find a old bicycle inner tube 1"diameter and cut into 3 2"lengths put them over your kickstart pivot and both footpegs,2, use filter skins if your out there for a while,easier to pull off and keep going then to fanny around changing filters and risk sand in the carb,3, use a 1.8bar rad cap cos its gonna get hot! 4,use a pair of the old ladies tights over your rads keeps most of the sand out and you can just rip them off when full up! 5, take spare pair of pads for the rear(sand eats them for breakfast) hope any of my ideas help you!!!!
