Fork Oil Volume?

I will be replacing my fork seals, and I can't find my owners manuel. I think each fork takes 20.4 ounces of oil, but I need to be sure. Does anybody know for sure?

Theres a post in here about replacing fork seals. The post didn't specify a quantity, but rather a oil level height. Was something like 3 7/8" to 4" from the top, collapsed.

Neither are stock, and both are great desert bikes.

You are much better to work on level than oil volume. It is a more exact measurment and easier to tune by. My K5 forks worked best with a lower level and stiffer springs. Cam.

I have Race Tech springs front and rear, they are for 260lbs. When I check the level should I do that with or with the springs in? Also do I compress the forks to measure oil level. In the manuel it says 80-110mm from the top of the fork.

Forks fully compressed, no springs. On mine 120mm was smoother with .46kg/mm for 210lbs, but that was singletrack and not mx or desert. Cam.
