Hot Well is fun but I don't think it's worth putting on paddles, not enough sand, would limit your riding. Just be sure you have a good, new / newer knobby. Just my 2 cents.  If you can, watch the weather and go after it rains, it's the best. And soaking the hot tubs after a day or riding is awesome.

Here's a couple vids of some guys riding quads at the dunes for those that would like to see.  Kinda boring but they seem to stay to the outer limits.  No hill action.  I'm "Flop" on that forum.

My back tire is like my head- BALD!  I need a new one.  IRC M5B is what I'm leaning towards for it's long lasting, and great traction in soft stuff.  We'll see.

Hey! Thanks for the pic's The terrain reminds me of our desert just west of El Paso, TX! Is it pretty much rolling sand hills, rather than big dunes?

Thanks a gain! I gotta ride there! :-D :-D :-D :-D

Hotwell Dunes video.  I know it's not Kawi, but cool video for the dunes anyway.  I was riding a friend's 2002 CR250 with a bald back tire.  This jump was 4th gear pinned for prolly 100 yards prior to the dune and depended on momentum for me.  There were more bikes out there yesterday than I've ever seen at one time.  Oh, and none of the vids are of me.  My batteries died after these.

2 CR250s
KTM 250SX
YZ125
3 RMZ450s
at least one YZF 450

but no KXs...
