Tether Kill Switch?
yea i know about tethers. it really was the 1st day that i had it running

well i found the problem. i have another 39mm pwk to reference so that helped. my pwk on the 3 wheeler had a PJ carb cap in it. no big deal right? well the throttle tube is smaller and it was catching on the top of the cable retainer. it sticks tight too!!! i put the other cap on and all is fine. i have to tore apart for paint and repair now.

I'm sure you wouldn't be the first to tether if you did,,, I don't think I've seen one on a three wheeler,,, then again I've not seen the KX500 in a three wheeler,,, nice build.
I have however had that sick feeling of destruction of perfectly good equipment. Thanks for sharing the pics many of us have been there,,, I totaled a new Polaris 800 Sportsman first ride out 3 years ago,,, it rolled about 200 yards to its death .

I'm glad you found the problem,,, I'm sure you know this can be a good place to find parts if you  need.
