should I do this?
« on: March 10, 2009, 09:28:02 AM »
Can anyone help me decide what is better to do, I have a 1986 KX500 that is in pieces, should I just sell it as a whole or part it out. I had a guy offer me $350 for the whole thing, but then I had a guy offer me $75 for the ignition, and $25 for the pipe.

Parting it out will get you more money but its more of a headache in the long run.

im with bank,i would reather not deal with the pieces and parts. craigslist is cool, but flakie. and e-bay can be time consuming. if u need the money, but not right now then part it out. but if u need the cash now sell the whole thing. on the OTHER hand u could put it back together and have one of the baddest motorcycles to ever be made.

yeah I think something is up with one of the gears in the transmission or something, So I don't even want to waste my time putting it together to find out I can't ride it anyway
