my first bike was stealing my dads k11 suzuki [a 1965 two -stroke 80cc lamo-street bike]riding it into the ground and getting chased by cops..i was 13years old in 1976-then i got a 74 mx100 -it got me into dirt biking and i eventually got onto big bore bikes[IT400s]then a new YZ490..in 1993,I got me my first KX500,a 1991 version, which i raced and loved..and regretted selling.......i now got a 2000 kx500 and am re-living my youth all over again YAY!!! I owned lots of bikes over the years[street and dirt, mostly dirt]but i always judged the performance of the bikes i had on the feel of the KX500...
