Radiator Hose/Coil Clearance
« on: January 17, 2009, 03:51:48 AM »
I was mounting my Clarke desert tank this morning and discovered a clearance issue between the "Y" radiator hose that comes off the left side head to the top of the left and right radiators on my AF. The hose had been wearing against the upper portion of the coil mount bolt. I patched the groove in the hose with some blue adhesive silicone and I'm going to put some sort of sacrificial wear pad over the hose. Probably just tie wrap another piece of hose over the top. The brown thing in the picture is a mallet handle wedged in there to keep the hose off the coil until the silicone repair dries!
