Someone broke in and stole some of my MX stuff
« on: January 09, 2009, 12:18:28 PM »
This morning January 9th someone broke into my van and storage shed in the backyard. I made a list below of some of the things that I missing now! I can't explain to you guys how mad I am!!! If you can find out anything I'll give you guys a reward (not sure what). If you can find out who it is (I'm pretty sure it was more then one person), I'll give you an even bigger reward!

2009 Shoei Scimitar TC-5 helmet (only used a few times)
Showa works suspension forks and shock (gold coated tubes)
2 X 21 inch Excel complete wheels (has new discs and Dunlop tires) blk rims
3 X 19 inch Excel complete wheels (has new disc sprockets, and Dunlop tires) blk rims
1 X 18 inch Excel complete wheel (has new disc sprocket, and Dunlop tire) blk rim
3 X 19 inch used wheels (stock Kawasaki wheels with Dunlop tires) blk rims
Sidi Boots
CTI2 knee braces
A couple sets of Thor gear
4 pairs of Scott goggles
Dunlop tires (not sure how many)
Thor rain gear

Thanks for your help!

I think I can speak for most of the people on the site.  Nailing the scum bag would be reward enough.

I know exactly how you feel, roughly 2 months ago they got me, broke into my shed and bike trailer ended up getting about 10 grand worth of stuff, big tool box, all my Nitrous stuff, my riding gear, my sons practice gear, tires. I feel somewhat fortunate, they could have gotten 7 bikes and didn't which makes me think it was someone who knows me, knows of me or knows about me. Now I have my house, garage, outbuildings and my bike trailer all wired, its a shame that you have to do that but thats what this world has come to.

Hope you find you stuff, or at least those that took it.
Live today, for tomorrow may never come

Sorry to hear that. I'm moving house soon and will be making and safeguarding an oasis for bike and tools. when I've done I'll post my security tips for everyone to adapt for themselves. it will be comprehensive and very thorough as i have experience in beating scumbags and letting the dog eat the leftovers. death is too good for 'em.
And lo, I did loft the front wheel and carried it forth to the unbelievers, and cast it down before them and said unto them ''look now upon the might of my throttle control ye pitiful cretinous ones''
And the unbelievers did quake in their boots....

Not sure where you are from, but I hit all of the classified boards and I will keep an eye out for it.  Good luck to everybody looking for your stuff.  We really do no need thieves, I say they should be gotten rid of by the justice system.

All, If I'm not mistaken I think that Destry lives in Scottsdale or Phoenix AZ. For those who wish to help in looking on Craig's List, etc look in AZ.
