Hello from MA
« on: January 05, 2009, 03:08:59 PM »
Hey all, just thought I'd check in.

Just picked up a 2002 KX500 for the grand total of $1300! Too good a deal to pass up.

Now its added to my stable along with two Ninja ZX600-Cs, a cr125, a kz750 ltd, and a kz 440 ltd.

Havent gotten to ride the KX much, we're in a foot of snow here,  but from what i can tell, it's a bear to start, but when it does, and that manhole cover of a piston starts moving, it puts the fear of the almighty back into you. sounds like fun!

Glad to here of the New Steed,

Just for Grins, when the snow melts, take that little red bike to Southwick and run it till it starts to detonate. Then immediately take the Big K5 out and report back to us!

Congrates on the new purchase, sounds like a great deal. Slap on a paddle tire, find a packed snow mobile trail and ride! Pulling wheelies in 3rd on snow is awesome. (you'll likely be able to do it in 5th on the KX500)

i definitly have to get to southwick. im actually in the next town over, and its about 4 miles down the road from me. its a shame i've never gone. i heard they have practice days, where i can run the track at my own speed without embarassing myself too much!

i was thinking about some ice studs. we got a couple good lakes around here. supposed to be traction like you can't imagine.
