I am in the same boat.... I can find all the different FX graphics but no true pictures of them on the KX500....

There is the EVO 5... No idea what they look like on the 500...

I currenty have N-style on the bike... they are purple and green... no idea what type, came on the bike..

My problem, I am looking for somthing that looks good only running the shroud only, (no tank graphics intigrated (has a word that runs from tank to shrouds))... as Im running a desert tank (clear)...

What we need to do is build a base thread, with pictures of real bikes, stating what graphics kit is on the bike.  as this seems to be a re-occuring question and problem... I know it would help me....  Just my thought.

I had Facotry Effex make me some custom graphics for my wifes KX80 that came out really cool.  They were like $300 but like I said they look really good.....you get what you paid for.  I don't think making custom graphics for our beloved 500 would be a problem......I'll look into it and post up results.
I once heard my buddy Bill ask Danny Hamel after a race....

Ok, here goes....Factory Effex makes custome graphics for the KX500.  You go on their website and look on the "shop online" icon, and scroll down to the custom graphic option.  Then you can chose if you need complete graphics, or just shroud graphics, etc.  Once you chose what graphic sets you want you then chose the bike maufacture (ktm, kawi, honda, etc).  Once you select the brand of motorcycle you then pick from either the Atak series, or the Rev series graphics.  After you have chosen the graphic style you will get a display where you can choose your specific model, and you will have slots were you can write in what logos you want in specific places....i.e Monster on fork gaurds, FMF on rear fender, etc.  And the kits are only $189.00 and have a turn around of about 2-3 weeks.  Hope this was helpfull.  I know the price is a bit high but they look really good and its the closest you can get to factory graphics. :-D
