Hi,a race report from this year of GGN 2008.
We were 600 racers in my class (40-50 years) and we started last of three starts.
Total racers were 2300 on a 2.2 swedish mile circuit at the same time.
Total racetime were 3 hours of muddwrestling with much fun.....
I got a very good start and got fourth out of turn 2(look at pic for nr 1864).
Started at 4th gear with my Rekluseclutch with shout-off engine before start.
Never shifted gear at straight,used overrev at last part of straight and gained
many meters before turn 1.
Holeshoot man crashed at turn 2 and I passed him and went on for my first lap.
BUT I got stocked at a deep muddhole,because a bad dissicion for one second when we were
5 racer in the same turn and I got the worst track,bad luck!
Digging mudd for 40 minutes with bare hands,but could start again very tired and exhausted of course.
Riding total 4 laps with one pitstop for new glasses and refueling.
My 3 last laptimes were in the range for a 50th place without the muddwrestling lap,but I ended 284 of 600.
BUT NEXT YEAR I WILL HOLESHOOT AND MAKE NO MISSTAKES FOR SURE!
