I didn't know FMF made a low boy pipe. Why does AJ use a cr500 pipe if fmf made a lowboy kx500 pipe.

How do you know it is an FMF pipe. Does it say FMF on it?

If not it is a Zip-ty pipe made by Flow. Is it gray?

I was looking for one of those pipes but was told they were no longer available.

On Ziptyracing.com they give you the option of a fmf lowboy or their pipe.

I found this page on their site that does say FMF low boy, but I called them and asked for a low boy pipe and they said they didn't sell those anymore.

not yet.... im still waiting on my frame and swing arm to get pouder coated... i will definatly post some pics when the bike is done... its kinda been a restoration project for me. i bought the bike for pretty cheap but needed a lot of work. i'm hoping to start assembling in the next two weeks. rain is coming and i have a thanksgiving camping trip planned that i would like to bring it on... but funds are slim with the economy slow i don't have much work being an electrician.

I have this kit on my 2000 Kx500, and it really adds range over the stock tank.  Plus, it is great to be able to see your fuel level just glancing at the tank.  It really didn't make the seat-tank junction wider, and it didn't make the bike feel top heavy.

I think I have this kit also.  I know the FMF pipe was not the normal pipe due to the custom tank that mounts 250 shrouds.  This was on the bike when I got it.  I need to get a shot of the other side...

I just got my zip-ty racing kit on 11/12 and it came with the tank, the 250 shrouds(green),the fmf lowboy pipe (new), and the graphics. I also got the chain adjuster blocks. Everything total was 659.00 That includes 30 bucks for ups. It was sent on friday and made it here on wednesday. Will try and post pic when installed.

I am in the market for a desert tank setup, I love everything this sytem does. Except one thing.... all the pictures I see of it seems to hang the pipe lower than the frame!? after seeing all the rock marks in my skid plate, it worries me.  So unfortunatly I think Im going to go for IMS or clarke (Not shure yet)...
The only pictures I have seen are of the Flow pipe... curious as how the FMF pipe looks.
