Hello everyone , im a newbie to the site but have been riding and racing 500s since 1990. just sold my 08 klx 450 and am rebiulding my 1999 kx 500. i just couldnt make the change!!

It is good to hear you are makeing the swap back to the 500. After I took my 500 out for the first time I knew I would not need another big dirtbike. I would like to find a xr250r or sometihing similar to it for just putting around on trails so I do not stray too far from my friends.

Hey tharden, before you get that xr 250 try out a kdx 200 !! i have one thats street legal. its great for trail riding cruising the pits and teaching girlfriends how to ride. plus i always get graphics that match the 500s.

I looked up the kdx200 and it is a nice looking bike. The only problem is I do not see many of them around here. I think I will hold off buying a bike now and maybe keep an eye out for one. Thanks for giving me the heads up.
