What have i gotten myself into.... ?

I rode both dirt and street off and on for almost 10 years. A bad dump on a CBR and an even worse car wreck after that have kept me off 2 wheels for almost a decade (unless you count the wheelchair - lol) I started getting the itch to ride a few months ago and a KX500 in mid rebuild practically fell in my lap. So, Im slowly putting it back together & I'm currently shopping around for a power valve setup. Its the only thing I'm missing to be able to ride. Any tips and advice are greatly welcomed.

yeah ,some of your story i can copy..
been in wheelchair too for few months revalidate for a year,
now back and riding hell

and for the kips setup that must be no big problem,
down here we can get that stuff plenty new or sec.hand.
