that crushed velvet seat cover is awesome, not sure if it would be that great to ride, but it sure does look sweet. i'm sure it will be an outstanding bike with that "stewart" engine. congrats on the new toy.    MADDOGGY

Sweet mother of god !!! This bike is a riot  :-o I was literally yelling out YeeeHawws !! & i was riding by myself ....what a friggin laugh.
Well that's my ride report so far.....i'll be hitting the track this week, & see about tweaking the suspension. I have a CRF 450 R that i smoke this track with...one hit is 110 feet.....not sure if i'll attempt that on the KX.....but the 80 footers should not be a problem.
Lots of pics to come  :-D

I take it you have a stock swingarm for it then?  That thing looks sweet... I think I like that suede seat cover a little too much. One word comes to mind... "Pimp!"  I wonder what other colors you can get? I'll have to look into it.  I might have to buy another complete seat and cover it with suede and keep it for the dunes. Save the All Grip seat for trails and mud.  Sweet score!

The swing arm in the pic is actually extensions.
The power delivery on this bike is just awesome....right from idle to toppping out. The power band  (duration} is wicked long.
This is a Steward built engine. The thing is simply awesome  :-o
I hope i can get the suspension right for MX.....givven the sweet power delivery....it could very well be a capable MX weapon  :-D

I've had 2 brand new K-5's before. Stock was impressive but the power range needed alot of attention, & to be cleaned up.
This Stewart built engine is amazing.....i simply cannot stop talking about the super wide power delivery. this thing is in power right off idle, but maintains decent tractibility for a 500 cc
I'm not really sure what is done aside from a carb, & exhaust, but whatever it is....is simply amazing. I know some internal stuff or whatever....don't really care...LOL !!!
Sorry for rambling on & on, but i'm super stoked to have this steed as a stable mate to my 05 CRF 450 R   :-D
I will be jumping this KX....she will fly.... pics to come.  :-D

I wish I could test ride a Stewart bike just to see the difference. Then I might have to fund his next vacation.  I've only ridden my K5 which is mostly stock (as far as I know) with the usual bolt ons. Now that I think about it... I guess I wouldnt mind test riding everyones K5 just to see who has done what and what effects it has as far as suspension or motor.
