broken lever and parts.  Shaft coming out the motor is fine as far as I can tell, been using a modded piece of metal and I'm sick of it.  (I'm as far from a mechanic as possible, so I don't really know if everything else is fine, but it works with the metal kickstarter, just no return spring and it flops around.  Not cool.)

Can anyone tell me me just how much the kickstart levers cost in dollars as they are about a hundred quid over here and its just not funny.

If they are a hundred dollars or so its worth me buying one from the US and getting it shipped over here.

Is that just for the lever or for the whole external assembly?

on the mainland these levers cost around 160 euro
i think its a also bit cheaper then in the UK :|

allthough i think that breakin,it is an art on its own ,
cause it should fire up at first kick ,mine does so.
and if it breaks it probably does that after the footstep contactzone when the lever is down.
that means imo that people do kick too hard and far down.
