I recently put a Barnett clutch in my Kx5. I used the springs labled "Kx500" not even thinking that I could use the ones labled for the 250.
Fast forward to today, I had a run in with a quad on the trail today. The accident broke my shift shaft (popped one of his front tires and bent the rim). While I've got the clutch cover off and clutch out I was wondering if I can use the 250 springs to get a lighter lever pull. I think I rember reading on here (can't seem to find the post though) that people were doing that. Or maybe it was using half the 500 and half the 250 springs.
