whats the worst bike anyone has owned?

 im just curious as to what's the worst bikes everyone has owned ive had some real winners in my collection over the years.

1980 KX420.  I was making my pro MX debut on a fully sponsored bike.  Couldn't finish a race, broke tripple clamps, frames, then almost everything in the tranny.  Used the practise bike they gave me as a parts bike. Somehow they screwed up on the parts and many were not available in Canada. THe shift drum (yes I broke a shift drum) had to come from Japan. Took 6 months. Ugh...................nuf said.

hodaka super rat.....made lots of niose sounded fast but a nieghbor kid got a new 1979 yz 80  and blew my doors off

year? the dirt bike kid yz80. that thing was always blown up just like most 80's. but it was fairly new (less than 1 year it was current model) and it had the water pump, stator, rod, and the case sealing leak, costing 3 top ends before it was found. had it 1-1/2 years.

95 KTM250EXC. Didnt turn, had no power compared to the CR250 I was racing before it, the suspension sucked, the Marzochi forks leaked the 1st time out, it blew up 5 months after I bought it, both rims started to corrode and big, sharp flakes of aluminum would puncture my tubes. 6 months later I bought a new CR250.

defineately the Hodaka Combat Wombat, they had the worst shifting mechanism in the world, along with a weak crank.

                  all my bikes growing up where junk. i rode a honda 70 for a while the tank would flap around ( don't think it was bolted down). the shocks would bottom anytime you would hit anything. i thought bump starting was the normal way to start a motorcycle for a long time.

I'd say most XR series bikes I've owned, my old '89 CR250 was junk.

this was too my worst nightmare!!!!

had the f*cker for two months ,couldn,t get it fired ....d*mn thing.
try all the known methodes i,ve asked to a cr5 freak
all things were good spark / jetting etc...

only if dragged after a car it would fire up
this is a common issue on the pr? 90 honda btw
lots and lots of story,s simular like mine are on the net about it.

id have to say mine was also a 95 ktm 250 i rebuilt it enough times in one summer i could of bought a brand new bike but i was determined to make it right 900 bucks a pop to get cylinder redone kept finding what looked like needle bearings wedged ontop of piston and in the cylinder wall had entire motor apart 3 times and found no bad bearings go figure dunno but that bike was a pos

luckely for me is i could sell that cr5 stayin equal,
nothing gained or lost.

i was happy to sell it and the new owner sold it quite soon afterwards,
guess its not going to find a decent home 

and for that 250 ktm i would give a hint

87 CR250

What a piece of crap that bike was.  I was so friggin broke at the time I could barely buy plugs for the thing.  It had a mind of it's own.  It would run when it wanted to run.  I'd have to start the bike at home in my driveway, if it ran I would load it on the trailer (running) and drive to the pit.  If it didn't run, there was no riding that day.

LOL - I just remembered....that CR had a Roost Boost on it when I bought it.  Remember those things?
