Hello to all the Kawwie riders out their, I have an 88 KX 500 that I just got all back together. Im having a little trouble, I think my power valve timing is off antway the bike runs great up to 3/4 throttle then it just flattens out and wont pull any higher rmp. I have the jetting correct. when I put the exhaust valves in the timing marks didnt align as the sevice manual suggests. Has anyone experainced the same trouble. The top end is all the same from 86-88 anyone know how to test to se if there working properly?
