I got a little stuck in the rocks and got a very slight nick in the lower back side of one fork slider (2002 K5 upside down fork). NOt sure if it's even enough to cause fork seal damage, but can I emery cloth it out...? Is there another way to smooth it out...?
Thanks,
Sharc

You can remove a slight scratch/nick working your way down to 400 grit using wet/dry paper on just the damaged area. Not the whole tube around it, just on the sratch/nick.Then cross your fingers.
