Tank Graphics for my '86 KX500 - Sealing a tank
« on: November 30, 2007, 03:41:41 PM »
I'm after a generic set of graphics for my '86 500. As it's a supermoto, I'm after something modern rather than the retro KX. Something likr the pic below. I have a concern though, I recently rebuilt an '81 YZ125, bought some tank graphics and within a month they were blistered to buggery. This is due to the porous plastic, the tank is made of. Anyone know of any graphics that won't deform or a sealant that will prevent the tank from leeching fuel fumes?
So where do I cet a nice sheet of Kawasaki graphics?

The best graphics for not deforming are the ones that have all the little holes, they let the gas vapor escape. As far as buying graphics, I'd bet you stuck with stock (if you can find them) or custom, say from decal works or a like company.
