Next week I may go ride my brother's RMZ250 (same as the KX250F). After all the reading I have been doing about the Suzuki powered Kawasaki I am seriously considering one. Since I'm out of a KX5, I just need to have something to ride...I can get a SUPER deal on a RMZ....and not that super deal on the KXF.

My 220 pound brother says the bike is all that and hauls him around super fine. Wicked easy to ride harder for longer he says...

Here is a little review I found... http://www.transworldmotocross.com/mx/bike_test/article/0,13190,480400,00.html

If it all adds up when I ride one...I'm gettin' one.

Get the GREEN ONE! I'll help get a deal!

BTW, Suzuki DESIGNED the ORIGINAL engine. It went thru ALOT of revisions. The whole Enchilada is MADE by KAWI...It's a GREEN thing for me...

Manny

Did I miss something? What gives with the K5? Did you looooose it?

Unfortunately, yeah... It was stolen and sold on EBay to our amigo Hulkster. The thread is right here.

Yep....and the cops are taking thier sweet time about it all....pisses me off.

The RMZ250 and the KX250F sure as hell look the same bike with different plastic. All I'd have to do is change the fenders and radiator scoops and we'd have a GREEN MACHINE.

Supposedly both bikes have the suzuki motor with the KX CHassis....

Here are 2 links that talk about it some...

Like I said above....for the price I can get a Suzuki for...there is no question....just need some green plastic.

Truste me: The engine design came from Suzuki. The design is based on a lot of GSXR technology. It was prototyped and produced at Kawi. Shane Esposito did most of the testing here in the U.S. Infact, one of the jokes at Kawi was that the motor has been revised so many times (By Kawi) that there's hardly any Suzuki left.

I know there are different stories in the Moto-media. Those guys couldn't get it right to save their lives; Hence, "The Honda was the best" in every d**n test you see!

Yeah....

Well...I think I may be buying a new RMZ250. I can get it WAY cheaper than a KXF. Fars as I'm concerned they are BOTH Kawazukis anyways.  They ARE fast for a 250 4-choke...real easy to ride faster and longer for me....

as a matter of fact...got a new sig already made up...

I have a 04 kxf250 and think this bike could be the ultimate offroad bike.this bike flat out handles and has a very GOOD midrange.new, stock it is a moto bike with some issues.yes it can and will over heat(I rerouted the cooling and it made a huge difference),the valve springs are too weak setting the owner up for failure(that is diffinetly my next mod.)and you'll have to get the front forks revalved cause rock gardens are the enemy. But that said that chassis is great, the rear end is good, the motor performance is great.this bike makes me wanna do bad things!
I wish my 99 kx 250 motor was in this chassis,it wouldbe that good.OH YEA the new 05 kx 250 might be what I want?
