burned riding pants
« on: October 07, 2007, 03:54:28 PM »
hey guys, on a recent riding trip in the dunes the pipe on my k5 started burning holes in the right leg of my riding pants. the burned spots are right above the knee area. just wondering if anyone else has trouble with this happening. i plan to have some leather sewn over the area but am concerned that when washed the leather will get hard and tend to rub a blister on my leg. thanx, MADDOGGY

I rode my kx5 this weekend in shorts because i was bored and wanted to do a quick ride. Needless to say it got warm a couple times in that spot. I normally always wear pants, but i've never had problems with burns to my pants.
