Help, I need a kickstand!

I need a kickstand for my 1987 KX500-C Su-Mo project!

The bike has a mounting tab on the frame for this purpose, and Kawasaki even lists the part. Trouble is, it has been discontinued. And all the aftermarket ones that mount on the swingarm I have seen are for the 1988 models and up, which have a different swingarm (i think). Can anybody chime in here with a helpful tidbit of advice? I'm all ears.

if you're good at fabrication you could find one to look at and take measurements and make one. or you might get lucky and someone on this forum may be able to give you measurements. btw, have you checked around and called any bike salvage yards? not much, but hope this helps,   MADDOGGY
