i hope not

i want the 2 stroke to survive ,
and i know it will .
in maybe better settings,
such as improved efficiency of fuel use
by using fuelinjected motors
and otherwise we need too make a machinemanufacturer crazy enough,
too build us a couple of thousand cylinder,s cranks piston  etc....
just for kx 500/cr 500 riders maintenance usage
if soon everything now in stock is sold
just thinking loud :|

My parts guy says they have to support (with parts) each model for ten years from date of manufacture.  I'm putting together my own parts department of parts that wear fast and may get hard to find.  Looks like we should have K5 parts till 2014 if the ten year part support is true.

They stop manufacturing them after 10 years is what I've heard, but usally have a TON of stock left over that will last 10 more years.. Stuff that wears faster will always sell out quicker too.

I ordered some parts for a friend and his '73 or something KZ175 or something like that. Kawasaki still had the parts.

Honda is, was, and always will be into four stroke development. Let the CR die, it is outdated for a modern two stroke. Even a KX85 has KIPS!
