I have complained a number of times about a chapped a** after riding all day. Most of the time, I hear that I'm not standing up enough. I made it a priority to ride standing as much as possible, especially when at pace. It has helped considerably, but not enough. I'm sure the gripper seats and the handful of throttle out of every turn ads to the problem, but there has to be help. I know it is a weird subject for this site, but I was wondering if anyone else had found the magic helper for this problem. I see that there are several varieties of protective under clothing. Some keep you warm, some keep you cool, some hold pads and some probably aren't worth buying. Anyone already cross this bridge and cure it? I know there are some riders out there that sit as much or more than I do. Forget about telling me to ditch the gripper seat, I like them. Anyone using a paticular style or brand of protective shorts or other clothing that they could recommend?
