Building a quad
« on: July 16, 2007, 02:15:22 PM »
What do you guys think? I have a 85 quadracer 250 which prior to now had a late 80s zx6 motor in it. The frames raised 2 or 3 inches but the builder actually pulled it off to make it look alright. Now what it came with was a Ninja 636 with FI stuff, harness, exh, new 10 paddle haulers w/rims, wider axle, and a few other things. So...now I need to mod the motor mounts and get it together for dune season. Ill put up pics, Any thoughts? or? Oh yeah stricktly a sand Machine for when its too dark or Im too beat up to run the KX500 at Glamis. Oh yeah got this project for $1000.

HA ha! Yes definately! If you haven't already got one get one.

The 80's 600's are not near the same class of machine the new 600's are.

Yeah the tethers definitly on the to-do list. Gonna rob the tether off the ninja. I know those 636's fly on the road, probably the same if not more than my 750. All I need now is to make the  suspension and brakes as good as the power. Picking up the project this weekend.
