« on: July 01, 2007, 06:53:35 AM »
Hey guys I just watched "Dust To Glory" 2005 film about 2005 Baja 1000 race. My old hero JN Roberts was in it racing with his son. The guy is amazing at 62 still racing the Baja! Maybe there is still a few more years for me to ride.........

Alan :-D :-D

Alan I'm sure you have plenty of years left in you.  You may want to stop launching yourself into the stratosphere though :p.

Just getting to see Dust to Glory!
     Oy-VA!
I liked it so much I got several  DVD's off ebay and passed them out, and then got all the "On any Sunday"
series and my kids cracked up at all the funny gear, corny music and bikes with two rear shocks.    Kids....
Alan, I have to also recommend "The Worlds Fastest Indian" and an attempt at a modern day "Any Sunday"
 "Throttle" .
And hey.... I lost like, forty-five minutes when I got a flat....
This could be like,  like,  two snaps up?  or, four and a half stars
(Siskel and Ebert,, oops.. thats thumbs up and only one... oh, nevermind)

The Worlds Fastest Indian was on of the best flicks I have ever seen! I watched it about 5 times before I sent it back to Netflix. I have watched all of the "On Any Sunday" flix several times! When "On Any Sunday" came out I had just ripped my knee out of joint on a motocross track and I watched with a cast crutches and tears in my eyes!
