my k5 powerband
« on: May 21, 2007, 07:32:20 AM »
i guy
recently i have bought a gnarly desert pipe and boyesen rad valve(my intake boot was all cracked on stock).......
after maybe 10 ride, i can't tell i very love the power it make..... it's not very constant, less torque  down low and  hit hard on the top with good over rev..... but i dont like the torque i have lost down...........is it the pipe or the rad valve that make the biggest difference. i want overrall good power because i ride  on all sort of terrain:tight trail, sand hill, open terrain, it vary a lot

i want to know if i put v force or maybe stock reed (with new boot) with my desert pipe  will it make a more wide powerband..........

i want an all around type of power for my k5....
any sugestions
thank you

You need a reed spacer to give you low down torque! :-D :-D

I agree with Alan.

1st) torque spacer
2nd) tooth up on your rear sprocket

3rd) grit your teeth and hold on
