There's only one thing better than old school bikes and that's riding them. Sweet bike.

It took 2 years of serching for NOS parts to build this bike BDI and new parts are no longer availible as for the gold alan it is a urethane 2 pack paint i had made to suit anodising wouldnt come up nice because of the cast finish on the alloy it was to dark no depth in colour

Hey kxsinoz, nice that the rim color on those new excels is pretty d**n close to your paint. Good looking bike. I just got a 420 motor and I am thinking of building an ultralite aircooled bike with a new generation aluminum frame. I have a tech question for you. How long does the motor on your 420 run before you notice a drop in performance due to it being air cooled? I typically am looking at 20 minute motos and am wondering if the performance loss would be noticeable. Thanks.

Hi hangtime 20 min motos should be fine just make sure that you use a dome top piston in it and get the squish done i have just rebuilt mine and have got it out to 482cc goes great also they need a hole in the piston on intake side because this engine has not transfer ports on the intake track the hole needs to be about 20mm when the engine is at BDC mark the piston with a marker showing the port size on the piston skirt then put hole in the center of the marking and dont run to much comp you wont get any top end cheers hope this helps need to know more just ask
