Any good places to ride in the NJ/PA/NY area

Well just when I thought that the rain we received was going to put a damper on my first outing, mister weatherman is calling for a dry and warmer Saturday. However, I now have new disappointing news. Paragon adventure park in Hazelton, PA is "temporarily" closed. Figures.

So being the newbie that I am, I'm trying to find a place to ride that will let me get the feel of being on the dirt without guys flying by me on the trails. I thought I might have this opportunity at Paragon due to its vast amounts of land.

Anyone know of a replacement spot to ride for this weekend? Although I would like a legal spot, I've heard that Centrailia, PA a deserted town, makes for some ok riding. (minus the fact that you can fall into 150 foot sinkholes that open beneath your feet).

I thought that Paragon was still open on the weekends? Unfortunately the only legal place to ride in NJ is the ORV park in Chatsworth. I live about 5 minutes away from there. Otherwise you have to be legal to ride in the state forest (tagged and insured). A good starting point would be to join an enduro club. There are 8 of them in NJ that I can think of off the top of my head. You will meet alot of good people that can guide you in the right direction. I know Majestic Trails in Rew PA is a neat place to go. www.majestictrails.com A ton of land there too to ride on, all marked and arrowed with difficulty levels too.  We've been there the last couple years as part of our hare scramble series, and I've always wanted to go back just to ride, haven't been able to though.  A few of my friends have been there to ride and they've loved it.  The past two years we were there they've had terrible weather leading up to and for our race, and the trails were still good though so don't let the weather discourage you.   Where about are you from?  If your close by I can show you some places to ride.

That would be a 5-6 hour drive for me. Ive been to Mill Hall near Renovo for a dualsport a bunch of times. It takes about 4 hours for me to get there. Any single track at Rew?
