Hello, I'm currently 17 and in my last semester of High School and eager to get out.
I am currently KX-less but close enough, I bought myself my first dirt bike last October, a 2002 KDX220. Once I figured out how to use the clutch more or less and keep both feet up I did my first race last December and loved it! It beat me up but I finished and not even in last place!
I did my next race a month later and did even better and enjoyed it even more. Then in early March I raced BITD Laughlin U.S. Hare Scrambles on a friends 04 GasGas EC200 and once again, had a blast.
The more and more I ride and ride other peoples bikes the more I realize how much I want a new bike (green of course). I've ridden an 05 YZ250, 06 250EXC, 05 200XC, 05 250SX, 06 450SXF, 07 250SX and couple odd bikes here and there. Most favorite of all was the 07 250SX, that was a beast and a half, even though it was stock it performed amazingly on the ST.
So hopefully by the end of this month I'll have a new (to me) 2003 KX250 with many goodies sitting inside my garage along side the trusty KDX. I would have bought this KX250 earlier but I needed the money for my senior prom, a race and a SkillsUSA competition all within the same 5 days, it 'aint going to be cheap.
So until then I'm KX-less but dreaming of one every day. Theres just something about being the only green bike in a sea of orange that is so nice...
