rear brake lever piston mount relocate
« on: March 19, 2007, 08:13:11 PM »
just wondering if any of you guys have ever tried to move the rear brake lever piston mounting location up a little? I took a good hard look at it today and it looks like i could maybe build an adapter plate that would move the piston up about 1/4"-3/8". then there would be some adjusting room to get the brake lever down to where it needs to be. I'm sure that i am not the only one who doesn't like how high the lever is positioned on the kx 500. thanks.

I have mine adjusted down as far as it will go and still have a little free play.  Still does not put it in my comfort zone.  After 2 years I have gotten used to it.
