I know that it is a sacrilege, but...
« on: March 09, 2007, 07:38:14 AM »
I had to buy it.

An 89 RM250 for 500 bucks--and running.  So the KX5 project is on hold for now.

Anyway, a couple questions for the great members of this board:

1.  However unlikely, is there an RM board with anything close to the level of helpful people that frequent this board?

2.  I can't find an official Suzuki parts finder like Kawasaki has, anyone know how to find it?

3.  Anyone on here own an old RM250 also?

Thanks in advance (and I hope y'all will forgive me).

Good to have a bike to ride while you work on your other bike. Sorry I'm unsure of any RM sites.

Riding is riding,  get out and do it on whatever you can.  As long as you are building a KX, it's OK   This is my ported and punched 84RM250 Sand Bike.

Thanks for the support, guys!

Furiously, The RM is sweet! I like the polishing job on the swingarm and motor.

I didn't realize that you live just down the street from me.  Maybe you and Arigato can drag this newbie around on a trail ride sometime--I'm so new to this sport (offroad, that is) that I don't know where to ride.

Thanks again!

SMF:
You live in the Vegas area?  I don't ride in the desert anymore,  just the dunes.  Arigato rides dunes and track,  not much desert either.  The season for riding out at Dumont Dunes is coming to an end due to the heat of summer coming.  If you get the KX5 running,  we could hit some sand,  would be fun.
