paddle tire?

I plan on going to Little Sahara in the next month or two when we get or other dunebuggy done. Just wandering it anyone has any suggestions on paddle tires for a 500? I have also seen front tires but never used one. So what tire do you suggest? :-D

you don't have to do anything with the front tire. i have run a 10 paddle(skat-trak)...destroyed it in a day..went with a cheap 8 paddle and haven't had any issues. go cheap, cuz the 5hundo shreds paddles...gear a little taller also. have fun

When you put a paddle tire on the rear of a KX5 you don't need a front tire, because it is never on the ground! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I have 2 sets of wheels, the stock MX wheels, and a stock set that I will mount sand tires on.  I bought AMS Sand Snake tires front and rear.  I have not mounted them yet or used them.  So I can't give you a thumbs up or down.  Here's a site if you want to look at them.

I run an 8-blade turbo paddle; it get great traction yet spins enough to turn well too.  The ribbed front is the bomb!  It adds a whole new dimension to turning in the sand. :mrgreen:

thanks guys. i will deff get front and rear tires. Im a big guy so i have probs turning with the extra weight sinking the front tire.

yeah its the round kickstand like thing you use when u stop or park.  :-D
