One of my favorite riding spots!
« on: September 24, 2006, 06:38:10 AM »
You may have seen El Paso in the news with all the floods the last two months! We have received 3 times the annual rainfall in less than a month. As a result the desert is covered with flowers!

This spot is called Bultaco hill and I have never in 36 year ever seen it like this! There are lots of fun runs to climb and some of them are almost straight up at the top. It was named Bultaco Hill in the early 70?s.  A 250 Bultaco Pursang was this first to make it up the original run! I first climbed it on my 1970 250 Montesa Cappra.

That's cool looking...  very purdy.  At Dumont Sand Dunes in California, which is just outside Death Valley, in the spring when it rains there is a fantastic flower bloom that transforms the desert into a work of art.

Sorry for the lame advertisement, but you get the picture.
