Whats your dream machine ?
« on: June 13, 2006, 01:54:21 PM »
If money was no object what would your dream machine be ? Mine is a nice example of a 70 - 74 camaro Z28 or SS camaro manual big block,i know there are plenty in the states but quite rare here in New Zealand, supercars are kool but some good old american muscle would do this kiwi to go with his big bore bike, whats your pick ?  8-)

An aluminum framed KX500!  My motor, works suspension.  The frame and all other aluminum would be polished of course.

Wow, I've pretty much had all I've wanted. But, if I had a car I really wanted it would be an Enzo. Aside from that, life has been decent to me except for taking my riding areas. :-)

288 GTO This is me. Rare, Fast, Beautifull, and good all round Ferrari. One Day..? In the mean time I'm doing up a Alfa GTV6. Also rare, fast, And nice looking. We could be happy together, providing I can get enough $$ to sort out a few little probs. Fully recoed the engine so far. Sweet little 2.5 litre V6 OH cam with an fantasic exhaust note! Fitted Bilstien shocks last weekend all round. Exellent now. Got a few bits of rust to tidy up. Mate from work is gonna do that for me. Nothing major. Then Gonna lower the front and shout it a set of Simmons 3 piece wheels. And new brembo cross drilled and slotted rotors and maybe some AP calipers..? The suspension set is swish too. Dedion rear end and tortion rod front which will get a slightly heavier sway bar and nolathene bushes. Insides very tidy being a one owner. Just a Momo wheel for there.

So this is could very nearly be my DREAM machine! Or someone elses when finished which could allow me to start looking for my GTO... Yeah right! the Mrs would flip! :|

I think this one would fit me nice. Everyone needs a 100 h.p. dirt bike.  A  $20,000 BMW tank, bullet proof.

The BMW HP 2 weight is 386 pounds dry, that's why I say it's a tank.  I was wrong about the H.P. it's listed as 105 H.P.  If I had money I would have one.  You could hop on the highway at 100 miles an hour and be at the dirt track in no time.  I would not like getting it stuck in the mud.  You would have to have a 4X4 to pull it out.
$20,000 dollars is steep, lets see....  that's 6 near new KX500's.
